On February 5, State Grid Hunan helonghu 110kV substation staff told reporters that at 22:38 on January 31, the main transformer of the station was successfully put into operation and maintained safe and stable operation. This is the first 110kV GIS intelligent substation in Xiangyin County, Hunan Province. After it is put into operation, it will provide stronger power guarantee for helonghu town and other towns in Western Xiangyin.

Previously, the power supply of helonghu town was originally undertaken by the 35kV substation in the town. In recent years, with the acceleration of the construction and development of the town and the successful establishment of crab shrimp Town, the power consumption is increasing year by year. In order to meet the growing electricity demand of the town, Xiangyin County reconstructed and expanded the 35 kV Substation in helonghu. It is reported that the construction period of the project is nearly two years. One 110kV main transformer with a capacity of 63000 KVA will be built in the first phase.

It is understood that the newly built helonghu 110kV substation adopts GIS automation system of steel indoor transformer, which has the characteristics of low loss, low noise, high performance, high reliability and high intelligence. Its automation system adopts fully layered distributed substation monitoring system, with microcomputer protection, integrated power supply system, intelligent auxiliary system, etc., which can realize the comprehensive automation of substation. In addition, a large number of new technologies and equipment such as optical fiber, intelligent terminal and merging unit are adopted in the whole station, which can automatically complete the functions of information collection, measurement, control, protection, detection, etc. it is more intelligent, energy-saving and humanized, and greatly improves the power supply capacity and safe operation level of the power grid while reducing the operation cost.

In recent days, State Grid Hunan Xiangyin County power supply company has earnestly fulfilled the main responsibility of "providing good power and service", overcame the difficulties of night operation, rain operation and live line operation, and made every effort to mobilize sufficient manpower to increase the capacity of main transformer, eliminate defects in a centralized way, and carry out special inspection and temperature measurement. In January this year, two 35kV substations and one 110kV substation were put into operation, increasing the power supply capacity of the power grid by 76000 KVA to ensure the safety and reliability of the power grid during the Spring Festival.
